Your records stay under your control
CareClasp is a health-record organizer from Genesis Ops LLC. It stores profiles, care contacts, medications, appointments, health history, results, insurance details, notes and imported originals on your phone. CareClasp has no user account or health-record server. The app does not send your vault contents, backup passwords or sharing codes to Genesis Ops LLC. This build has no Android internet permission.
Storage, locking and recovery
Saved records and originals are encrypted in private app storage. Android Keystore and your phone authentication protect access to the vault key; CareClasp does not receive your fingerprint or device PIN. The app locks after five minutes of inactivity, including time in the background, or immediately when you tap Lock records. Unfinished record and lab-review forms can be saved encrypted locally for recovery after unlocking. Appearance preferences and a local acknowledgment receipt are stored separately. The receipt contains the notice version, a fingerprint of its text, app version and time based on the phone’s clock. It has no medical details, is not sent to Genesis Ops LLC and is excluded from exported backups and caregiver snapshots. Android cloud backup and automatic device transfer are disabled. We cannot reset a backup password, unlock your vault or recover records for you.
Camera, files and microphone
Camera permission is optional and used when you choose to photograph a record. The app does not save its camera captures to your photo gallery. It reads only files you choose or share into it; a chosen file provider may fetch a file from its own cloud service. Text recognition uses Tesseract and a bundled English model on your phone, with no model download or OCR analytics. Images and extracted text are processed locally. It is designed for printed English; handwriting may need manual entry. Review extracted names, dates, numbers and units before saving. Optional field dictation uses Android's on-device speech service on supported phones, with no cloud-recognition fallback. CareClasp does not save audio recordings. Your keyboard and other apps have their own privacy settings.
Backups and caregiver copies
Only an action you choose creates an encrypted backup or caregiver snapshot. You choose where to save or send the file; that destination may be a cloud drive, messaging app or email service with its own policies. Backups contain all profiles and their originals, but not unfinished drafts. Caregiver snapshots contain the sections and optional personal details or originals you select. Give the opening code separately. Anyone with both the file and its password or code can read it. A recipient name is not identity verification. A shared profile is a dated, read-only copy, not live synchronization. Removing a contact does not revoke an exported copy. A caregiver role does not establish power of attorney.
Phone, maps and calendar actions
Tapping a phone number opens your dialer with that number. Tapping an address passes that address to a maps app. Add to calendar opens a calendar editor with the appointment title, start time and optional location for you to review and save. These apps may connect online or sync to their own accounts. CareClasp does not request access to read your phone calendar or contacts. Edits made later in CareClasp do not update calendar copies.
Retention and deletion
Saved information stays on your device until you edit or remove it, replace the vault through restore, clear the app's storage or uninstall it. You can delete individual records and care-circle contacts in the app. Clearing storage or uninstalling erases the app's local data and may make recovery impossible unless you have a working encrypted backup and its password. Copies saved outside the app, original source files, calendar entries and copies held by caregivers are not deleted by these actions. Delete those separately at their destinations. Genesis Ops LLC cannot remotely erase them.
Support and purchases
Contact careclasp@gmail.com about privacy or support. Email is separate from the local vault: anything you voluntarily send by email becomes available to Genesis Ops LLC and the email providers involved. Do not send medical records, vault backups, passwords, sharing codes or unredacted screenshots. Ask this address about access to or deletion of correspondence you have sent. The app does not request payment-card details; Google Play handles any Play Store purchase under its own policies.
Use of health information
Use CareClasp to organize information you choose to enter. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Record summaries are based on saved entries; they are not generative AI or medical advice. Before entering another person's information, make sure you have permission or appropriate authority.

This notice describes CareClasp for Android. We will update it if the app's data practices change. Check the displayed revision date when reviewing an update.
About this website
This is an informational website, separate from the CareClasp Android app. It has no health-record upload, contact form or analytics added by Genesis Ops LLC. The website hosting service processes requests to deliver and protect the site. Any hosting access controls and service policies are separate from the app’s local vault.
Email links open your email application. Information you send is handled as described under Support and purchases above. Do not send health records, backups, passwords or sharing codes.
